The Pneumatic SiloWhip is a tough Equipment powered by a very consistent Hydraulically remote operated silo cleaning system with a Pneumatically run Whip Head.

Working from an opening in the top of the vessel, the Silo Whip will effectively clear material build-up and encrustations in various types of bulk storage containers - all with no need for confined space entry. Once set up the Silo Whip acts like a Hammer Crusher that can be maneuvered around inside the Silo / Hopper / Bin to knock down material that is hung up.

The SiloWhip is mounted on the Silo Tope from an opening preferably 550 x 550mm or 600mm Dia. opening at the roof. The opening should be less than 4 meters from the Silo wall for the optimum reach of Whip to clear the coating. It goes down the middle with big sweeps that reach out to the walls on all sides.

The “whips” protrude from the cutting head, so each time the Silo Whip is run up and down inside the Silo. The material is cleared which is equivalent to the radius of the whip. Movement of the boom up-down, and side-side, allows you to position the cutting head at the hang-up, while the hose reel moves the head up and down.
